Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India launched YUKTI (Young India combating Covid with Knowledge, Technology and Innovation) Portal’ to systematically assimilate technologies having commercial potential and information related to incubated startups in higher education institutions in Covid pandemic situation. The primary mandate of YUKTI 2.0 is to help in fostering the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in academic institutions Students, faculty members, startups and other stakeholders of higher education institutions.

MES Ponnani College gave orientation to the interested students on this new venture which promotes entrepreneurship in academic institutions in this pandemic situation. Forty-five students from MES Ponnani College have registered in the web portal Yukti 2.0. Dr. K.M. Shereena, Assistant Professor, Department of Zoology is the Coordinator of this programme.
